The gap between 'construction complete' and 'first patient served' is where most hospital launches slip by months. Licenses, equipment installations, staff hiring, SOPs, HMIS configuration, IPD admission workflow — all of it has to be sequenced and finished before day one.
Commissioning is our most operator-heavy engagement. We run a weekly commissioning war room from T-120 days through T+30, track a master punch list of roughly 350 items across 14 functional areas, and own the integration points between vendors that would otherwise slip through the cracks.
By go-live day your team is running the facility — not still waiting for the biomedical engineer to finish calibrations.
